It seems likely that Barnet’s defence is going to have a major say in the destination of the title, so I’ll be interested to see if they show any backbone at Solihull Moors this evening, just prior to their trip to Torquay on Saturday.
There's also an important match as far as the play-offs are concerned, Wrexham v Notts County, where 3 points would virtually assure the winners a spot in the top seven.

Good post. Hopefully Barnet, put up a fight to show they are playing a part in determining the destination of the NL first place spot. I know relegation isn't a fear factor but pride will come into play. Over recent days the forum has been good at analysing the Barnet factor in terms of goals scored against them influencing the destination of the league. If we, for some reason, finish 2nd, then the current most likely opponents we will face will be Wrexham or Notts C.

Gulp, challenging games but winnable. We live in hope. If we, for some reason, finish 2nd, then the current most likely opponents we will face will be Wrexham or Notts C.

As it's quite possible we will need 3 points when we play Barnet, I'll be quite happy if they have mentally gone on their summer holidays already.

Barnet's game at Solihull this evening is in some doubt as the pitch has been affected by very heavy rain. There's talk of delaying kick off.

Well let’s hope they get it on. Being re-arranged for Thursday this week is not going to be helpful! Thursday week however Solihull have a nice slot 😉

One can only wonder how there isn't a pitch available that can negate a waterlogged pitch!

Ah, you mean one of those super bouncy ice rinks that confer an unfair andvantage on the home team by dint of the ball staying 30 foot above ground level for 90% of the match while also crippling the entire squad within the first ten matches of the season?
Or something?

Something like that. But who wouldn't want to watch a drab League Two game on a pitch that is shared with a rugby club to turn it into quagmire in December basically rendering any chance of a decent football match being played obsolete.
As opposed to a surface that gives a true game of football pretty much every time.

Football is all about mud, when all is said and done. Always was and always should be... That’s why the EFL and players are called ‘stick-in-the-muds’! And they like to play dirty.

Wrexham's defeat tonight at home to Notts County "could" end up costing them a Play Off place ! With Eastleigh currently winning at Aldershot 'they' are strong favourites to be in Play Offs instead.

The date of the replay of tonight's postponed match between Solihull and Barnet could have significant implications for Sutton and Torquay. If it is replayed this Thursday, Barnet will have less than two days to recover after playing on a heavy pitch before having to play Torquay on Saturday. If its replayed Thursday next week, Barnet will have less than two days to recover before playing Sutton the following Saturday. As there is nothing riding on Solihull v Barnet, it really ought to be put back to the Tuesday after Barnet v Sutton - to help preserve the integrity of the competition.
