The date of the replay of tonight's postponed match between Solihull and Barnet could have significant implications for Sutton and Torquay. If it is replayed this Thursday, Barnet will have less than two days to recover after playing on a heavy pitch before having to play Torquay on Saturday. If its replayed Thursday next week, Barnet will have less than two days to recover before playing Sutton the following Saturday. As there is nothing riding on Solihull v Barnet, it really ought to be put back to the Tuesday after Barnet v Sutton - to help preserve the integrity of the competition. Solihull could still snatch a play-off place if they win all four of their remaining games (three of which are against sides in the lower reaches of the table). So I can't see the league agreeing to defer their match v Barnet until after 29 May. Whichever Thursday is chosen for the rearranged fixture, you can be sure that conspiracy theorists will be making their views known. 🙄

There's due to be more rain in the Solihull area on Thursday, although not particularly heavy, unfortunately!

It has been rearranged for tonight, which isn't too bad I guess.

It will be played behind closed doors, and if the pitch is unplayable it will go ahead on one of Solihull's 4G (!) pitches.

To the best of our knowledge, no 4G pitches have yet to date been officially accepted by professional bodies nor do they
meet FIFA or World Rugby testing standards. Most existing pitches labelled "4G" are just marketing.

Wrexham's defeat tonight at home to Notts County "could" end up costing them a Play Off place ! With Eastleigh currently winning at Aldershot 'they' are strong favourites to be in Play Offs instead. Seems I was right about Wrexham, but Bromley have replaced them, rather than Eastleigh....Unfortunately, 3 successful defeats in April probably cost them their place....All that extra money thrown at them didn't have the desired effect.
