Congratulations to SCR who have today achieved “upward movement in the pyramid step 3-6 restructure. They’ll now be playing at Step 4 for the first time in the Isthmian South Central along with T&M.

SCR were considered for upward movement to step 4 as they finished top of the division on ppg over last 2 seasons. The FA did say they didn’t want clubs to assume they would go up just because of this.
Presumably they had to provide financial assurances and security of tenure. They’ll have to make other arrangements for the start of the season just as United will (if necessary!).
