Please read this article on our website www.suttonunited.net/matchday-arrangements-23rd-may/Finally an appeal. Just because we are allowed back it does not mean things are back to normal. We are only allowed to play under special licence and this requires that the club puts additional safety measures in place AND that all spectators follow the stated protocols. We know that this means that some of the little pleasures we take for granted at football matches are not permitted. So, in particular, unless you have a medical exemption please do wear a face covering at all times (unless eating or drinking); follow social distancing rules when queuing; obey capacity limits for toilets; please spread out around the ground. Each area of the stadium has its own capacity limit which must be observed, so if stewards do request that you spread out or move round please cooperate. Do NOT change ends or move round at half-time. Be under no illusion that failure to cooperate may result in being ejected from the stadium. Oh, and absolutely NO pitch invasions, including after the final whistle. Enjoy the game

I notice in the newsletter that "Once inside the ground please check in using the NHS App".
I've no idea how to do this. What exactly does it entail?

It's nothing radical, the same app that has been in many public places for months. Just Google NHS covid app and download the App onto your phone. It's free. All you have to do is point your phone camera at the QR code on the posters and follow the brief instructions.
It is accepted that there will be a few in the crowd who do not have suitable mobile phones.
