Remember our first season in the Conference? We were struggling them Macca came back from Scandinavia and everything was alright. Can we also have a shout out for Joff Vansittart? I thought about Vansittart and Feltham, but then considered the quality of opposition they faced with us - no disrespect to anyone there, just difficult to compare with the standards we face at our current level. |

Macca, of course, was initially signed as a fullback from Woking, if memory serves. Which reminds us me that the first time I saw Malcolm McDonald he was playing as a fullback for Fulham. Two Maccas, two converted fullbacks, two amazing scorers. I think he played central midfield to start with but also played full back until his conversion to forward for the 78/9 season. Who says Keith Blunt didn't know what he was doing? |

Steve Galloway played out in Sweden too, I think he is still coaching out there.
