Apparently Joey Barton has been sacked by Bristol Rovers. Brilliant news. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Now I can talk to their supporters who seemed reasonable people but I could never understand why they supported the thug.

I make that six League Two clubs to have parted company with managers already this season: Bradford, Colchester, Gillingham, Grimsby, MK Dons and Tranmere.
Some of the sacked managers had been in post for less than a year, others (such as Hurst) had impressive records. This crazy short-termism reflects, in part, a terror of falling into non-League (and missing out on next season's Sky TV money).
Sutton Utd, of course, are different.

Jackson would make it seven if Wimbledon fans had their way!

We play 4 of them in a row. Let’s hope no new manager bounce for Colchester, Tranmere and Grimsby (if they get the new person in before our game). Some clubs taking a long time on appointments - Bradford, Tranmere and Gillingham.

Buggered that up I think!
No, it's the usual noisy but small minority who are a bit pissed off they didn't get their way last season when we nose-dived after Christmas.
You could sense they were waiting in the wings by not giving Jackson any credit for the decent start, so when we fluffed our lines in the Morecambe and Accrington games, they were fairly quick to get in. I would say three on our forum.

FGR have sacked their manager too and appointed Troy Deeney. Good news that we’re not competing for a manager.

Troy Deeney is having a nightmare tonight. Unfortunately it’s on Celebrity Master Mind 😅

Our 'old friend' Conor Wilkinson, who so enjoyed scoring against us for Daggers and Walsall, has just signed for Colchester.
I'm sure he'll get a warm welcome when they visit us on 24 February.
