Bit of a long shot.....but I have a ticket for the Saint Etienne gig at the Old Market, Hove on Saturday night (27th). I can't go but will be at the Barrow game so if anyone fancies it please let me know and we can arrange to collect it at the game. Standing ticket - face value £30 and I am not looking for anything in return but if whoever wants it cares to make a donation to the club or charity, that would be great. They are ace live - seen them many a time.

Was I the only one thinking this was going to be a thread about an interesting mismatched football tie?

Same here but I have to say that is one fantastic band! Shame I can't go either.

Was going to make an execrable pun along the lines of Only Hove Can Break Your Heart, but I'll resist the temptation just this once.
Great band by the way, saw them with the missus pre-covid in Barcelona and they were ace.

I will even forgive them for the track “Sports Report” on their “Home Counties” album that started with an announcer reading out Ryman League results starting “Carshalton Athletic 6 Chatham Town 1”. I love them so much I’ll even forgive that..

Anyone remember Faith Over Reason? They were a local band - who I saw a few times - fronted by Moira Lambert the guest singer on Only Love Can Break Your Heart
