Where is the goal indicator on a watch when you need it? In league 2 an incompetent ref and inactive linesman miss a U's goal. In the 1.08 time of these highlights Lee Angol the Bradford 19 is completely inside the goal himself by 2 feet when he handles the ball and throws it out of the goal. The ref gives a corner - which means he saw no foul by Sutton, and missed a handball of a ball which was already in goal.

Angol looks offside for the second unless someone out of shot is playing him on.

No doubt about the hand ball, you can clearly see the arm being used in slow motion.
As for offside its very tight with Ben when the ball is played.

I don't agree with sending players off in those circumstances. The penalty should suffice. If you miss the penalty there is no forfeit for the player or team committing the offence and denying a certain goal. The fairest option for a handball in the 6 yard box is that a free kick should be awarded at the spot where the offence was committed. Any opposing team player to be 10 yards from the ball leaving a free shot at goal. The player committing the offence stays on.

If the penalty is missed or saved the player is dismissed, but not both punishments.

The Bradford 19 would have escaped punishment if the game followed what actually happened, because when he touched the ball it was 'dead'. Play being halted when it fully crossed the goal line. That is not a handball.
