Shocked and saddened to learn that cricketing legend Shane Warne has passed away suddenly today. Unbelievable spin bowler.
This news came just hours after the death of another Aussie legend, wicketkeeper Rod Marsh.
Sad day for cricket.

Yes a huge shock to lose him at such a young age...and to think he didnt even want to be a cricketer...he was determined to make it in Aussie Rules but could not reach the required level - so started playing cricket instead!!

52, that is no age at all. What a tragic and untimely loss.

Very sad. Best spin bowler in history.
Shame it wasn't Vladimir Putin to have the heart attack.

Very sad, a brilliant cricketer. I only had the chance to watch him later in his career,, but he was still fantastic. RIP Shane.
I await Billy’s reaction.
