The club shop have been told we are playing in yellow to order supplies so might offer a clue. Considering Rotherham wear red and white I am surprised that the question of what colours we would be wearing needed asking.

We wore black there. Exeter and Crawley wear red and white. We wore green there. Hayes & Yeading wear red and white. We wore amber there. One would expect amber on an occasion like this, but these days it's always worth checking just in case - for instance there was a suggestion that there would be a special occasion where we'd wear the black kit as a thank you to fans.

I thought i read we had to wear our away kit/s in away league matches but Hayes & Yeading of course was a Cup match as is the Papa johns.

I've read a few things like that, and I seem to remember checking the EFL rules on that one and finding it's not actually true that we HAVE to wear away kits for away league matches (for instance we didn't at Bristol Rovers and black wouldn't have clashed).
I just find it's always worth checking!

Yep, because our club colours are chocolate and amber and knowing those that make these decisions we won't use a second kit at Wembley. That special occasion could have been at Wigan but we didn't we wore c and a. That persuades me that we will wear it at Wembley.

Oh I'd have been absolutely sure you were right on that from the start, but it doesn't hurt anyone to check! As for the special occasion, I don't think they'd have done it for an away midweek game regardless of how important that game was because the idea was to do it in front of as many fans as possible was it not?

Tbh I wouldn't know as I didn't take much notice of the announcement at the time.
Never really been a replica shirt person.

I’m sure the local councillors and MPs will be on the phone requesting tickets. Just posted on another thread. Suddenly we will be flavour of the month with the council and the mayor is likely to be seen at Wembley but will it translate into any financial support eg to help fund ground improvements? I doubt it.

As has been pointed out elsewhere, the Mayor of Sutton attended last Saturday's home game. I believe this was to help recognise the work of the club's Youth and Community Foundation.
I imagine that Sutton Council, like most local authorities these days, is strapped for cash, so I wouldn't anticipate much financial support from that quarter.

That is rather an odd allocation. Some sort of percentage i guess.

I'd prefer a side rather than an end.

It will be based on the total capacity of the areas of the stadium made available to us.

If it’s a sunny day take your sunglasses, they might be needed at that end.
