I see Irish company O’Neill’s are to be the new shirt manufacturers from next season on a 4-year agreement. O’Neill’s are long-established and are best known for their near-monopoly on kits in the GAA, though they’ve gradually been increasing their business in football.
I’ve never personally bought any O’Neill’s clothing but I think they’ve got a very good reputation. It’ll be interesting to see the new kits being revealed.

Did we not have a new kit for season 21/22 upon entering the Football League ? No, just the 3rd kit, the other 2 were kept from the previous season as fans hadn’t had a chance to wear them much.

I'd rather go back to white shorts.

Sutton hasn't worn white shorts as part of their home kit since 76/7 season.
White shorts replaced black in the late '50's. Chocolate shorts have also been worn. That was prior to the black; then from 1974 to 1976 and later, the centenary kit and up to 2008 when Dos went for all amber.
An all amber kit was worn throughout the 1980's and some of the 90s.
In the 1920s I have seen photos of U's wearing chocolate and amber hoops with white shorts. Quartered shirts were used in the 1930s as were halved shirts.
The first plain amber shirt coincided with the use of white shorts in the late 50s derivatives of which were used up to 1974.

For me it's got to be a one colour strip shirt/ shorts / socks. It looks really smart. As per last season.

It's nice to see that for our 125th anniversary the kit has a nod back to our centenary kit, with a modern twist on the quarters we chose back then.

Like the nod to the centenary kit quarters but doesn't quite commit - although appreciate this is a modern twist.
Shorts don't work for me and its a bit of a mess in combo with the jersey. Although I wouldn't go 'full kit'!
1898 on jersey a nice touch

Whilst I get all the nice touches, it doesn't do it for me. It's not a bad kit (I'll happily give that prize to the 08/09 kit), I personally prefer all the kits we have had since then to this one.
And that's just a personal thing that I've felt underwhelmed by it. Hopefully I'm in the minority and we sell sh*t loads of them!
