I assume they couldn't find any green socks for Louis to wear with the away kit - amber just doesn't work with the green. Don’t think there were any ready in time. But they will look like the ones in the online shop.

I'm really not sure on them... I think the Macron ones are better. The three GK kits are boring as f***. The socks being Black is a real f*** up and I hope come the new season O'Neills pull their act together and actually make them Chocolate. Is there a long sleeve option particularly for the GK?

I'm no expert but it always surprised when short sleeved goalkeeper shirts came into fashion.
I would've thought they need as much padding protection as possible on the elbows.

[/quote] It's a preference thing really but those old clumpy pads on the elbows and shoulders of GK shirts in the 90s did nothing anyway, it was just thin strips of foam sewn into the sleeves. When I still played I preferred short sleeves in goal as I didn't like feeling restricted by long sleeves, and I felt I had more movement.

Pitches are better these days too - they really shouldn't be hard enough to do you any real damage in short sleeves!

I know this season's kits will soon be obsolete.
However I need to know are there any rules about wearing second or third kit? As all kits feature the same sponsor (which wasn't the case a couple of years ago) are we obliged to change when there is no colour clash? I guess it justifies their existence and if we hardly ever have to wear them it wouldn't justify people buying theses replicas. I just feel that we should be wearing amber and chocolate whenever possible and I'm sure the majority agree.
