Yep along with Bracknell v Ipswich, Hereford v Portsmouth and South Shields v Forest Green I’d imagine.

Actually...home to Farnborough Ticks both boxes of home tie and against lower opposition. Farnborough not exactly pulling up trees in the Conf South sitting 19th (of 24) - not sure what their gates are like these days but they might bring a few.

I haven't quite forgiven them for nicking Steve Watson off us in 1999. Boot's on the other foot now.

That’s when they spent ridiculous amount off money on players and spent Ludicrous amount off money on the ground and then went bust. We are so lucky too have a great board.⚽️⚽️⚽️

I think we can rule out it being all-ticket! www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/divisions/3/

When did Step 2 go from 22 to 24 teams per division? I think I knew it had happened but didn't realise at the time

They have a couple of names that will be familiar to us - Sam Deering, who played against us for both Whitehawk in the South and Dagenham and Redbridge in the National, and their keeper Jack Turner who we all remember playing for AFC Wimbledon, Staines Town and being the keeper in goal for Slough when they beat us on penalties in the FA Cup in Dos' last season for us. They've got Omar Rowe in midfield who faced us at the same stage last season for Hayes and Yeading.
It's unlikely Kenny Davis will be playing in this match as he started a month's loan at Aldershot a few days ago.
Obviously being at home against a part time side 2 divisions below us should mean we are favourites to make the 2nd round, as we well know only a fool would take anything for granted and although Farnborough may not be doing great in the league this season, they did get promoted last season, beating last seasons 1st round opponents, Hayes and Yeading in the play off final. And those of us who went to that game will remember what hard work we made of that tie.
If we turn up and play like we did at Gillingham then they are in with a shout. Luckily as we've seen this season, that sort of performance by us is very much the exception, not the rule.

Didn’t Deering also play in the Billericay side that dumped us out a couple of years back - a right horrid oik who spent all of the home tie diving around I seem to remember. Turner’s a decent keeper - always struck me that he could/should have played a lot higher than Conf South. I think we’ve also come up against Lokko a few times previously for Dover?!
One concern I do have is Lovatt is cup-tied so that further limits our midfield options.

As Eastmond is serving a ban tonight we may see that today.
