A spanking for Hartlepool. I know it's still quite early in the season but they are shaping up as one for the drop.

It’s unlike Will to be injured.

Gritty away performance, not a game particularly high on quality (a Carlisle fan told me it was the worst match he'd seen this season), but with our depleted squad we need to grind out results like this. Taken with the draw at Northampton in October, we've proved we can come away with points from clubs in the top third of the table. Rob Milsom and Craig Eastmond in particular epitomised our battling spirit this afternoon.
Will Randall again showed that he is both our best finisher and our most injury-prone player.😐
There were heavy home defeats today for Hartlepool, Rochdale and Gillingham, all clubs below us in the table. This season is a struggle, but there's evidence to indicate that we'll stay up with something to spare.

I thought there was quite a bit of quality out there today from Sutton and that sounds like sour grapes from a Carlisle fan. Carlisle were poor with route one their only tactic. This was more like the Sutton of last season . Donovan worked hard and set up Will for his goal but we still miss an out and out striker. Maybe a bit harsh but Rose was in no mans' land for their goal. Came out but failed to collect and probably would have had a chance of keeping it out if he staid on his line.
