On my way to North Yorkshire now, and looking forward to tomorrow's match. The two clubs have a certain amount of recent shared history, both achieving promotion to the EFL during the pandemic (them a season before us) and both having to rip up their 3G pitches as a consequence.
We've beaten Harrogate in all three League Two encounters so far, the 2-0 win up there on the final day of last season not quite delivering us a play-off place because of results elsewhere.
Harrogate are currently 20th in the table, six places and twelve points below us. They're the tenth highest scorers in the division, but have the third-worst defensive record. Leading scorer is Luke Armstrong with ten. I foresee a few goals tomorrow.
For us this is the first of three consecutive away games against sides in the bottom third of the table; if we're going to make the play-offs this year then our away form (only two wins on the road so far) needs to improve.
I see from Harrogate's preview that we have a defender called Louis Jean. 😂 Let's hope he can deliver a coup tomorrow.

Arrived to stay with my mum in Birstall (between Huddersfield and Leeds) an hour ago. Heading over to Ripley just north of Harrogate tomorrow morning to see a dear friend, then off to the match, then back out to Ripley for dinner out in Harrogate afterwards. Looking forward to the whole day.

Any doubts about the game going ahead - water-logging rather than being frozen I suspect the problem for some clubs?

Any doubts about the game going ahead - water-logging rather than being frozen I suspect the problem for some clubs? Don’t think there’ll be any concerns for tomorrow. It’s 6degC where I am now and the same in Harrogate, grey and cloudy; it’s been milder up here all week.

Looking very sharp. As good as I’ve seen us. Maybe partially down to Harrogate being a bit disorganised. But we have to take the credit. Need same again.

1-0 - a proper away win. Great to see David back to doing what David does - but worrying that he went off injured. Big challenge against Stevenage next week.

Good result. I caught some commentary on Fotmob and it looks Angol played well when ha came on? And of course great to see David A hit the net. Tough game next week but if we can get three points then we will be in great shape.
