Woking v Bromley in the other National Prem play-off tonight, who are we fancying out of that one? I'm sensing a close game.

Why though? It's the same area. Haringey seems to be a new re-branding. I take it that's a joke as well. Both names derived from the same 6th century Saxon settlement and the disparate spellings evolved over the next several centuries - hardly "new." This is how language works (especially in the days before standardised spellings). Words may branch out and evolve slightly different spellings. The words guard and ward come from the same root word, but I don't see you calling that "rebranding." Or, for that matter, Tonbridge, which really was rebranded or rather the spelling amended to avoid confusion with Tunbridge Wells. If that were what had happened in Haringey (which it wasn't) then the answer to your question would have been obvious. No joke. I wish I had your education.

Wonder how Bromley would cope in the league, or how much regulations would set them back? But two tough games ahead for them to do it.
Have to say, if Notts County do not get a promotion it will be crazy given how many points they have got over the others. An example of how the playoffs can be so unjust and not really fair.

Bromley and Boreham Wood finished 36 and 35 points respectively behind Notts County in the regular season. There are clubs being relegated in the EFL who are closer to sides in their leagues in the play off places.

Or how great they are. At the end of the season so many clubs have so much to play for. And remember of coure Notts County have got themselves the advantage of playing a game less and playing at home as reward for where they finished.

Wonder how Bromley would cope in the league, or how much regulations would set them back? Same as us really. But yes it would be a travesty if Notts County don't make it.

They may have more seats but other than a few in their main stand, most of them are behind one goal which is exclusively for home fans.
They also have very little covered terracing for away fans. Been sun burnt and soaked on the away terrace in the past (not at the same match!).
Can't recall if they still have a 3G at Hayes Lane but if not, as we know, that's another expensive outlay.
Looking at some of their attendances this season, I certainly think they could sustain L2 football.

NFL, NFLS & NFLN semi-finals all take place tomorrow. I really can't see Boreham Wood recording a shock win at Notts County - but it wouldn't surprise me to see Bromley win at Chesterfield - which would see what for them would be yet another trip to Wembley. I know that Bromley are our local rivals but I'd like to think that few would argue that Michael Cheek deserves an opportunity to play in the EFL - and he has a habit of scoring against Chesterfield.
I think that both the NLS and NLN play offs are too close to call.

From a purely pragmatic point of view, I have no issue with Notts, Chesterfield or Bromley coming up. All of them would bring a decent crowd to GGL and we'd be almost certain to sell out the away end if it were Bromley.
Boreham Wood are bottom on the attendance table in the NL, and that's with them doing well.
