Does anyone know what the latest time you can enter the ground after kick off.
Are the turnstiles open all through the match or do they close at half time.
Apologies for the stupid question as won’t get there for kick off today.

One of the turnstiles at Gate A is usually open most of the first half.

One of the turnstiles at Gate A is usually open most of the first half. In "the olden days" you could get in at half time free.

For future reference - the home ticket sales booth is open for purchase of matchday tickets for a maximum of 15 minutes after the commencement of the match and we leave Turnstile 3 (facing immediately up the drive) open until half-time whistle is sounded by the match referee and if you have a season ticket then the stewards have at their discretion the ability to scan and allow you entry on production of your season ticket past this point. In addition, unlike other club's we do not take matchday ticket sales offline prior to kick-off time (unless the match is sold out of course) and therefore if you are running late and you can not get to the ground before the ticket booth(s) shut you can always purchase a matchday ticket on your mobile right the way through the match in effect

Online sales maybe possible during the match but if there is no one at the gate to read the q code (often the case) at half time and beyond the only way to gain entry is via the main office and that's reliant on someone being in there.
The stewards don't have q code readers and will not allow entry.

The stewards don't have q code readers and will not allow entry. The other "only way" is to speak to the stewards who seek guidance from a Club Official (I wonder who that is?) who then assesses the situation, often resulting in entry and a manual adjustment to the attendance and security aspects of knowing the numbers in the ground. Our stewards do a great job at trying to resolve all such issues themselves as most people aren't intentionally arriving late having purchased a ticket. Human behaviour being what it is though I'm amazed how many people make it more difficult for them to get the outcome they are seeking in failing to be polite and allowing people who are doing a job and trying to help to do just that though.

Most of the late entrants are during ht.
Not sure the stewards are certain what to do if there is no one on the gate with a q code reader. It rather depends which ones are around at the time.
If I am there I send them around to the office. Not sure how successful that has been but not heard any complaints.
