For those that haven’t been to MK Dons yet then I can recommend it, and yes, I’m aware of their dubious history. It’s a truly magnificent stadium, fantastic design, enormous and comfortable seats, great sight lines. The stadium is surrounded by lots of decent eateries and bars, and parking is good.
Accrington Stanley is another great day out. You can feel the humanity and down-to-earth nature of that club. A proper club.
I enjoy FGR and Morecambe was good the one time I’ve been to their ground.

I don't entirely agree. It is a very well designed stadium but it felt empty and soulless to me and I didn't particularly enjoy being there. I suppose people can make up their own minds on that one!

That’s because it was empty (more or less)! Their support is abysmal and it gets lost in a stadium that size. Back in 2016 I went to see my main team, Huddersfield, there on a Tuesday evening when they announced a crowd of about 8,500 but in reality there we’re probably less than 3k there, half being Town fans. Having said that I’ve also seen Town there in a playoff game and the atmosphere was immense (helped by Town winning of course!).

National League next season: Rochdale and Hartlepool replace Wrexham and Notts County: Ebbsfleet, Oxford City, Fylde and Kidderminster Harriers replace Maidstone, Torquay, Yeovil and Scunthorpe. So that's four former EFL/FL clubs relegated and one promoted.
