How is the squad shaping up for the coming season?
I'm guessing that those who we have released have no further part to play. They are released and therefore we don't have to worry about them getting a new club.
Presumably the squad part of the club website will get updated some time to that effect.
So who do we have now?

Yeah of course we all expect matt to use the same system, but the type of players available or the fact our tactical setup is highly predictable might have resulted in a change of heart, who knows. |

Baboonfish might have a point. Yes,possible smoke screen from Matt.But a change in the way we play ,ie wing backs, might be a change.
It will be interesting to see what comes out from the training ground in relation to tactics etc. I am looking forward to see how we play next season.

Maybe just building a squad that had the flexibility to change shape during a game when necessary?

A very good source (friend of Ryan Jackson) told me today that he hasn’t arrived at the club to play second fiddle to anyone.
So maybe that does suggest a tweak in the system.
Cannot imagine Joe Kizzi being left out..

Looking at the sites of various bookmakers, most seem to view Harrogate and Crawley as favorites for relegation next season - with us being in a group of 4 or 5 clubs trying to stay above them. On the understanding that we are still looking to bring in 7 more players before the transfer window closes (and our rivals may be doing similar), seems rather premature to form any strong views about who will finish where at this time.

Cannot imagine Joe Kizzi being left out.. It does suggest he is a replacement for Enzio. He will primarily be a winger for us and cover in defence. More pace and a long throw! It seems Matt has done well👍🏻 |

Kizzi played way too much last season due to circumstances. He played just about every game. You can’t possibly get the best out of someone playing that many games these days. Ryan is about to turn 33. They’ll both need to play a decent amount and Kizzi will probably also play centre back at times. Likewise we hopefully don’t need Goodliffe etc. playing every game if we have excellent cover.
