Read earlier today that the draw for this seasons 1st around Proper is this Sunday. Painful memories of last years first round where we lost at home to Farnborough - at least there won’t be a repeat of that!
Will discuss possible opponents after the 4th qualifying round ties this Saturday.

Will discuss possible opponents after the 4th qualifying round ties this Saturday. Aside from the NL sides coming in at the 4th qualifying, there's quite a few names from out past still in the competition such as Boston, Hereford, Macclesfield, Chester, Lewes, Torquay, Ramsgate, Weston-Super-Mare, Braintree, Chesham, Worthing, Welling, Bath, Billericay and Slough. And of course Cray Valley PM managed by Steve McKimm.

Having listened to the after match interview with Steve McKimm after his Cray Valley Paper Mills team beat Enfield 5-2 to make it to the 1st Round Proper too, had to laugh, as when he was asked about the draw, his response was.........."I hope I can catch the draw on the radio as I'm doing an airport run ( he's a Black Cab Driver by trade ) at 1.30"

I’m hoping for an away draw to Cray Valley Paper Mills ( because it sounds like a nice place ) , we scrape a 1-1 draw before bringing them back to our place . Then , in front of the live match tv cameras and a home crowd of 350 we beat them on penalties after a hard fought 0-0 draw 🤞🤞.

God I hope we do not get Bromley, I could not handle getting battered by them. Or AFC again.
Need some smaller teams to increase our chances of getting closer to a massively needed pay day.

They’ve never dropped that low even during the early 00’s - except for Surrey Senior Cup games.

That said I have been to Sutton matches with lower crowds before the 00’s , places like Bognor Regis. Now those were the days …………… 😃

They will fancy their chances to score against us and nick something. Thankfully we are at home which makes it a bit easier, I would have been a bit nervous at their place. Surely we can score enough to take the win?
It depends if Matt rests players. Personally I would put the first team out and play the bench in the league games, as I don't think it would make much difference and at least we could get a much needed pay day in the FA cup.

Matt will not be resting players for the FA Cup. It’s a vital comp and 2 victories for a potential game changing draw. It’s a good draw as long as we take it to them and win!!
