Decent draw Home to AFC FYLDE It’s only a decent draw if you win. We were at home to Farnborough and went out.

This is probably the best draw we could have possibly got.

Bottom of league 2 v bottom of N.L. near 300 miles apart should be close to a sell out. Will we be able to play our loan players? If not we might be short on numbers especially off the bench. If doubt I wonder whether our own players on loan could be called .

One point of interest is that, after their poor start to this season, AFC Fylde sacked their manager Adam Murray just over a week ago. Last season he led them to the National League North title. His successor is likely to be in place when they face us.

We can just hope that their replacement is not on the ball.

I think we need to take this seriously. A good Cup run, as well as generating money, could motivate the team.

God I hope we do not get Bromley, I could not handle getting battered by them. I'm a bit late to this thread, but we weren't getting Bromley because we get knocked out by them precisely every eight years and we're not due to play them again until 2028

AFC Fylde win 4-0 away at Gateshead and move of the bottom, our cup game looking more difficult now

When the draw was made they were bottom of NL. Since then they’ve had two big wins and moved up the table 5 places. Yesterday they won 4-0 away to a team who were just outside a play off place.

Yep Mike Williamson took the MK Dons gig. Fylde haven’t lost since the draw was made - put 3 past Oldham in midweek also.
Professional performance required next weekend - I don’t want a repeat of last year against Farnborough!
