Sue must always wear some lucky socks !To win twice in one season is very unusual. The ticket draw always follows a similar format:- All the sellers return to the hub, where the ticket stubs are separated individually, put in a tub to be shuffled around, to ensure complete separation of the tickets. Iris as a neutral then takes the tub with tickets to find a youngster to draw the winning ticket out, so ensuring a random draw. As regards ticket sales go, probably 65% get sold to home fans, the remainder go to away and neutral fans. This season the acquisition of card machines has meant more tickets sold - hence the prize being bigger, so more people keen to buy a ticket to take part!.The money raised by ticket sales goes to subsidise the running of the Coaches to away games as we receive no subsidy to help with some expensive long away trips. With another seller we could get the prize up to £200 plus.If there is anyone who would like to help out selling Tickets please call at the S.C. hub on a match day.
