As don’t panic has said it’s a business decision that the club had to probably make for the well being of the club at the time they made it, so they have an obligation to get these games on, yes some supporters may not agree with it. I assume it was made as I have said for the best interest of the club because money has to come from some where. Having said that now we have more in vest meant in the club do we have to have the palace women next season because I would like to see more given to our Woman’s team by promoting them a bit more, and also to keep our pitch in better shape. ⚽️⚽️

Total Madness, if the pitch wasn't playable yesterday with more rain overnight and this morning, how on earth could it be OK today? I also understand there is a U21s match on it tomorrow evening? Business decision no doubt, if it did go on. It did Palace won 6-0

I do hope the playing of the Palace match hasn't wrecked our pitch for the season.
It was very wet on Saturday morning hence the postponement and if it rained in Sutton yesterday morning then playing the Palace match was at best, foolhardy.
Problem is, as it was an FA Cup tie, it would be down to the referee's decision and the consequences of playing on it is not something they often consider.
That pitch cost the club a lot of money. I hope the need for more cash on a regular basis has not proved to be counter productive.
