Don't forget the benefit game on Sunday if you're free...
Bromley Football Club are pleased to announce that they will be holding a benefit match at Hayes Lane on Sunday 21st September to raise money in aid of Rob Hughes.
For those who aren't aware, Rob was brutally attacked by a group in Crete while on holiday, he was left fighting for his life but has made a great recovery and had his 4th operation last week and is on the road to recovery.
The game will be between a Legends XI and a Bromley XI. The Legends side will feature stars such as Alan Pardew, John Solako, Kit Symons, ex-England cricketers Alec Stewart and Mark Butcher.
The Bromley side will include players such as Glyn Shimmell, Wade Falana, Jason McKoy, Frank Coles, Grant Watts, Mark Tompkins, Jerry Dolke and Bromley manager Mark Goldberg.
The referee for the game will be Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock. The ex-Sheffield United boss is a fully qualified referee and will be the man in the middle.
Entrance fee will be a donation, please give generously as it is for a very good cause. Kick-off time is 2pm and full details of line-ups will be posted shortly.

Rob is now back in the UK and hoping to attend the benefit match on Sunday, that info came in too late to be included in his webpage.
