It was a bit of a tight squeeze on that day. I know where i stood which is now the Tardis terrace. Even though the crowd was 13000 the queues to actually buy a ticket in advance were unbelievable. Looking at that video reminds me that the health and safety people would have had a nervous breakdown that day ! 13,000? Official attendance was 14k. Even better. For some reason i had 13k in my head but that was going on memory. My usual viewing point to the right of the Main stand wasn't great and i think i moved around to the other side of the stand to try and get a better view.

On the same day as Sutton v Leeds in another 4th round tie Manchester United beat Manchester City 3-0 without George Best who was suspended.Incredibly, many people started to question whether United really needed Best.
He returned for the next round away at Northampton...................

Remember arriving at the ground and admiring the hastily installed ground improvements at the Collinwood Road end. New railway sleepers!
David Harvey was in goal for Leeds on the day replacing Gary Sprake who was unable to play due to injury. Harvey later replacing him to become 1st choice goalkeeper for Leeds.

A TALE OF TWO UNITEDS by JEFF PERKINS
I let a Leeds fan that i know vaguely borrow mine many years ago and haven't seen it since.Mind you i did tell him that there was no rush to return it.
