Gents , there seems to be a bit off steel about the U'S these days and we are climbing up the table. But it would be nice not to have to miss some of the game trying to get food.
I have a major "time" problem with the catering. I must say the food is very good but it is the third home game running where I have to wait for 10 minutes or more for a simple large hot dog or a burger.
Not for me I might add but for my son and his friends.
The comments from some off the away supporters trying to get food is not repeatable on this forum.
Food at football grounds is supposed to be quick and easy. How about at least some fresh roles or pasties or pies which you just order buy and go. A word in the caterers ear might not go amiss. The number of people who just give up trying to get food is unbelievable.
I will have to start bringing packed lunches at this rate.

Have to agree completely with Woodie on this... Having discovered the hard way that last seasons sausages have been replaced by revolting frankfurter type things at Rosie's (Thanks for eating it for me Mr C) I then queued for twenty minutes on the stand side for a burger (no complaints about the food that side). I know they are volunteers but the whole system is shambolic...

Ohhahh, the hot-dog sausages at Roses have always been the frankfurter style!

I suppose you could queue up 10 minutes earlier

I always believed that hot dogs were meant to contain frankfurters but over recent years they have turned into sausages in a roll.

I always believed that hot dogs were meant to contain frankfurters but over recent years they have turned into sausages in a roll. That's false advertising then surely. You'd have to call 'Sausage in a Roll' and not 'Hot Dog'

I know they are volunteers but the whole system is shambolic... I think you will find the stand side catering staff are paid. I'm sure I will be told otherwise if I'm wrong

I have also found myself waiting 15 minutes for a burger in the club bar. Someone told me that orders are only being cooked once ordered. It was a bit annoying quite a bit of a match

I don't use the standside anymore, I go to see a football match not queue for 10mins to get to the front then another 10 for a very overpriced burger. I prefer Rose's better service and money goes to the trust, the only thing I would say is please use real sausages in the hot dogs them frankfurter things are awful.

I strongly disagree OS. Frankfurters are fantastic. Cheap sausages are disgusting and full of gristle. They could always go for Cumberland or Lincolnshire sausages but the prices would go up and I think they're wasted in a hot dog. Much better with mash and onion gravy!!
