Sunday at 2pm we entertain current League leaders Dartford at the VBS.
We have seen a surge of supporters at other local clubs with Dulwich women attracting gates of nearly 700 and Bromley who are the league below us getting 150 last Sunday. With 4 of our remaining 5 home league games at the VBS it would be great if we could have your support and help us as we battle our own relegation battle.
The team has been amazing for the last 2 matches narrowly losing to then League leaders Fulham before getting a hard earned point away at Millwall.
Please come and give the Women's team your support on Sunday!

How likely is this to happen? Palace women played at GGL Sunday last, the U’s academy team today, the first team on Saturday. By my reckoning the Dartford match would make 4 games in 8 days!

Unless the weather forecast changes and we suffer a lot of rain. I think the match will go ahead, anything other than a waterlogged pitch there is no reason to move the fixture. I believe some promises were made to the new manager over this.

Providing the pitch is playable on the day then the match will go ahead. With showers forecast for Saturday and Sunday being cloudy I see no reason why the game will not go ahead.
As for promises when the ground is available we will be able to use it, we have our place in the pecking order and understand and respect that.

Seeing this week's newsletter it is good to know that having purchased a women's season ticket I get in "free" tomorrow, thought I had already paid!

Game on this afternoon. A difficult task against the league leaders so support would be appreciated by the team. One new player in the squad this week, Eden Clark

November in FA Cup I think. Three times at GGL this season I think?

We only have 11 home league games. Including today, five of the remaining six are scheduled to be at the VBS. One thing we’d like to explore is whether there would be any interest in a pre-match lunch? You can let me know on here or via a DM

November in FA Cup I think. Three times at GGL this season I think? They had 4 scheduled home games at VBS between August and November and played each at VBS, their "home". The paucity of fixtures having nothing to do with the Club. Since then the weather has intervened with 3 successive home games not being able to be played on the home pitch (with season tickets either honoured or agreement reached with the other team and ground for entry to be free to all). We hope to host all remaining home fixtures at VBS. It should be borne in mind that all 3 other teams that play at our ground have also been subject to weather cancellations, but with our Women's team being part time and comprised of those that have jobs (like many of their opponents), and the league rules in which they are undertaken, the ability to rearrange matches or host them midweek, isn't there. Unlike in the EFL this means alternative, and particularly 3G, venues are the practical solution to any weather affected fixture. The alternative, and one that may be taken next season given the criticism, is to host all matches away from the stadium at a new home, most likely one with a 3G pitch. That gives a more permanent (but not ideal) home and consistency, but means potentially fewer will go and watch them, and their feeling of being a full part of the Club is diminished. Not a perfect solution either.

Lost 2-0 but Dartford are a juggernaut this season.

Five 1st team matches, five CPFC u21 matches, 3 CPFC women matches and five SUFC women’s matches. With the heavy rain today tomorrow’s match for CPFC u21 must be in doubt.
