Don't forget the women are playing at Carshalton next Wednesday, 3rd July (note the change of date). Closer to home than any of the men's games!

No panic as can buy on the day but I notice that both Tonbridge and Farnborough have tickets for our friendlies on sale. While on our ticket shop the away section does not show either match. I doubt either match will have segregation is it ok to buy from the home site?.

Unusual for home fans to be able to buy in advance but away fans only on day. A big unknown away following could catch out the home club on aspects such as stewarding and catering.

I can't see any club we're going to be being unprepared for a Sutton visit, nor us bringing big enough numbers for them to be concerned.

I see a notice was placed on twitter a couple of hours ago that Tonbridge invite us to buy tickets in advance through their website, so maybe they would like some idea of how many Sutton fans may attend afterall. It seems odd that this is not announced on the club's website as a latest news item, as I suggest has been the usual practice for several seasons the same could be said over the announcement on the Q&A as well. In fact no news items have appeared on the websites latest news since 28 June. Tickets to attend the Q and A are brought via the ticket system on the website. I do not recall ever being asked to buy tickets through the twitter site but maybe one can. I confess to years following club announcements over the website and only using twitter to check the team line up on match day so having to get used to looking on twitter now for news as well. I suppose that is progress or is it?

Tickets will enable quicker access to the stadium. Cash/Card payments also welcome on the turnstiles which are open from 6.00pm. KO at 7.45pm.

As per clubs twitter account we actually started our pre-season campaign yesterday afternoon with a behind-closed-doors match against Crystal Palace’s first team - not confirmed but we lost 1-5 with Vinnie Tume scoring our goal. x.com/suttonunited/status/1809619060168229002?s=46
