Worth noting that both our fixtures against Fylde are on Fa Cup round dates (H on 2nd round, A on 3rd round). If either of us get a run together one or both of those matches could be moved. Ironic really bearing in mind who we played in the FA cup last season

Nice opening day trip to Tamworth (a new ground for most of us) on Sat 10 August. Not a great deal of travelling after that until Hartlepool away on Sat 5 October. Most of our long-distance trips are in November, January and February (including Oldham and Gateshead in the space of four days in mid-February).

Note that the FA Trophy changed format in 20/21 so now there are no replays in the competition and the semi finals are no longer 2 legged (if only that were the case in 1993!). Prize money is modest, but losing sides in each round get a smaller part of the prize money, compared to nothing for a losing side before e.g. Third round losers (the round we come in) will get £1,250 whilst the winners get £4,500.
