I haven't been to any of the pre-season friendlies.
What is the team's typical style of play? Is it exciting and swashbuckling or is it passing about and keeping possession?

So after all of the pre-season friendlies (none of which I've attended) how are we looking overall? Who are our danger men? Potential stars? Strong defenders?

If you like your team to play with lots of energy you won’t be disappointed. The two new players that have impressed me are de Silva and Simper. It would be interesting to know what others think 🤔

De Silva for me too and Vaz has looked ok too. Couple of steps up for both? I hadn’t been too impressed with Simper but he had a better game at Welling.
It’s definitely front foot exciting football though!

It's pretty obvious that the team's style of play under Steve Morison is quite different from what we saw under Matt Gray; that quickly become clear last season. Steve likes his players to retain possession and to press. Whereas Matt favoured players with physical attributes (height, pace, power), Steve leans towards those with technical skills (good ball control, accurate passing) and plenty of energy.
De Silva scored a wonderful goal at Welling, but otherwise he's looked a bit lightweight in the games I've seen. Harris, Odelusi and Sivi have stood out for me in midfield. I agree that Vaz looks a great signing; a goal-scoring full-back with something of N'Golo Kanté about him.
