Because of the short time scale of having to inform the Coach Company as regards numbers willing to use the coach. We have to confirm if we require the coach or not., by the 16th August. The cost will be £20 Return, the planned leaving time will 4.45pm, from the G.G.L. car park. Returning after the game to GGL. We offer a secure accompanied journey each way to lone, femail, and junior and senior Members. Alternative travel to consider:- 1) Car, could be a grind in the traffic at that time, parking could be a problem. 2) Train and Tube, A one day travel permit will cost £15.90 , outward journey should be ok , looks about 45 mins on the Tube, barring delays. The return journey would be getting back Late on what could be a fairly deserted tube and train, with personal safety to consider. Hoping you will consider the Coach as an option, If you are on the coach to Tamworth, please give Alison your name on Saturday.

Just to add a line concerning the Underground for that date, there will be a reduced service because whereas usually the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line both run through Ruislip to Uxbridge, the Piccadilly Line will only be running as far as Rayners Lane.

Thanks for the update however, what is the point of having a permanent thread (see the top of the list) for Supporters Club Away Travel, if you're not going to use it? If you would rather post for each match fair enough but please let admin know so they can unstick the sticky one. Cheers

If the Wealdstone coach was listed on the S.C. permanent listing it would assumed that it would be running. Why it was listed where it is ,as it is by no means certain that it will run, depends on numbers, so listed as a temporary posting. Simple eh?

Exactly what I was thinking but no doubt for totally different reasons.

Before I read this I thought it might be about Craig getting a player/coach role.
