The parkside is going to be a flexible area, if we get a big cup draw for example it will be for away fans. However there is to be no leaning on the pitch perimeter anymore (I had hoped this could be delayed as relegated but said in recent article it is to be enforced. GGL has always been a poor ground to watch football, sadly it not getting better. Apart from the stand where do the kids go to watch the game? The kids can't come in anymore unless accompanied. I started watching when i was eight years old with no accompanied adult. I guess times have changed but i very much doubt if i would have followed Sutton United all these years if i hadn't been allowed in then. If your parents are not in to football you are stuffed!

I'm not sure there will be much standing room in the Ambers Bar now the MBA lounge is off limits. Fighting my way into the 1898 room may be a challenge!

We became a designated stadium on promotion. When this happened in the 1980s it required parliament to dedesignate us again !

All the pleasure of going to the games seems to be being eroded slowly.
It's not just about the winning. It's feeling part of the club and this seems to be being taken away from us.

It’s a consequence of promotion. You have to become a designated ground, and the rules require no pitch side standing, although you get a period of grace but that has now expired.

We are still a designated ground. Only parliament can undo that.

We are still a designated ground. Only parliament can undo that. What that lot? They just blame everyone else and say there's nothing they can do.

If this rule is enforced at Dorking they won’t be able to use 3/4 of the ground. As will be the case for the vast majority of stadiums in the Nat leagues and below. I dont understand the busy bodies that make these decisions. No harm what's so ever with the crowds we are talking about..

No point whining about it Like it or lump it - it’s simple It wont exactly be good for lower league football if fans do start lumping it...

Our fans have a choice tho If they don’t like the new look set up, the new look team, the not quite ‘in it together’ philosophy etc, then they won’t turn up.

Our fans have a choice tho If they don’t like the new look set up, the new look team, the not quite ‘in it together’ philosophy etc, then they won’t turn up. The standing rules are nothing to do with the club but the FA (or who ever made the rules). So it will effect all none league football across the board. It would be a shame if the things that began to draw more fans towards non league and lower league football began to vanish, especially in these financially testing times..
