So far it's one gaffe after another from the new media and commercial team. We keep being told how we have 'professionals' now as opposed to what we had before but the quality has declined in what appears to be a relentless desire to (ouch!)..."drive engagement!" it would seem, at the expense of the views/needs of supporters and more importantly the style and values of the club. I received an email the other day titled 'You're all welcome' which rectified the earlier message about pre-match lunches only being available to members of the supporters club or at least for August. It's going to be a grim day when we are not welcome. Strange choice of words and very revealing on the thinking that is going on. The pre-match lunch though don't worry, is "just as it's always been", that is, in everything apart from the price, which has close on doubled (unless I'm missing something?).

I think with the lunch there are now 2 options. One which is a 2 course lunch and about the same price as previously, the other is 3 courses and a ticket which is obviously more expensive.

Do they mean Gander Green Lane? What about that other name of the ground? (The name escapes me!)

During pre season several Academy players turned out and played their parts. Non appear to have progressed to the first team squad . I wondered what they are now doing. I noticed the academy team have a fixture today away to Forest Green. Like on the first team fixture there is a link to a match preview but here there is only a description of the address of where the match will be played. Is this all I can expect the media team to publish on the fixture.
