Lat night I paid a penny short of an Ayrton to watch the Wealdstone game live on TV. The appalling quality made me think I was getting SD until the even more substandard goal replays were played showing they must have been SD and the 'main event' must have been a very shoddy HD. Perhaps it's the setup on my PC but I thought it was very poor value for money. Did anybody else experience this?

I would imagine it will be dependent on the quality the clubs set up produces, As I have not noticed NLTV reduce the quality no our usual home footage. But I personally did not notice poor quality last night. Sometimes, if your internet connection is slowing down and busy, the media players will compress the quality, so perhaps this is what happend to you? I did find the commentary irritating as they have a combined home and away commentary team which IMO is destined to be annoying. IMO you either need a natural commentary team or a fan based commentary for each side. Otherwise it it just full of awkward moments where the commentators either bite their tongues or tread on egg shells..

I watched the game last night on NLTV and I thought it was pretty good. Of course, it's not PL standard but we've come a long way to be able to watch games at this level in what was a very decent format. The replays of course are not fantastic. The commentators were good as well. They're not slick professionals but they knew the teams and had a good rapport. The Sutton guy was brilliant with a very droll sense of humour! Well done to them......

Yes pictures were ok for me. Not the best in terms of angle and view of the game but no complaints from me. I’ve watched all games so far on it and it’s been fine, better than my experience last year with the EFL version.

Having done a lot of this tv streaming lark and also known for moaning about media, I don't think NTV is too shabby given the lesser resources of the EFL. Decent picture, good filming, no breaks in the stream and easy to use.
