It would be good to get a third consecutive win after those three consecutive defeats. Our defending may need to be better than it was on Saturday. Our captain returns from suspension.

While we still currently have a minority of grumpy gits way too eager to give Steve and the boys some stick (As Steve's pumped fits and the "F*** O**" towards the main stand after our third goal on Saturday, addressed). They obviously feel we now have a divine right to succeed at this level and are unable to grasp the nature of the style Steve is introducing, which does need improvement. I will not expect an easy game today, we will have to be at our best again as Yeovil are no mugs. Given our last two wins a draw would keep a run going, a win would be fantastic.
One thing I will say, it seems easier to predict a win than it did last season, but we do need to cut out the errors.

I may be missing some stuff here but surely if offered W4 D4 L3 as a start to a season, with a completely new squad, most of us would have taken it.
Wouldn't we?

Just been on( X ) and some fans are just moaning about the game, call your self U’S fans. “Kpinwp” is absolutely right would have taken that all day with this young team and also this is a project not a sprint, so let’s just get behind the lads and support the club.⚽️

Maybe but we were the victims of 3 vicious fouls.

This new-look Sutton side is still a work in progress, having so far provided us with a very mixed bag of results. Tonight's 0-0 was our first under Steve Morison.
The first half was disappointing; Yeovil had more of the ball, did most of the pressing, and had most of the shots (thankfully for us, either off-target or blocked). When we had the ball we looked anxious, too hasty to find the killer pass or shot.
Twelve minutes after the interval, Coley and Barbrook replaced Vaz and Odelusi and almost straightaway we started to have more possession and pressure, forcing their keeper into some acrobatic saves. But that wasn't enough. Throughout the match, Yeovil resorted to fouls when we broke forward, but the resulting free kicks were all wasted.
With virtually a quarter of the league games now played, we're 9th in the table. That feels about where we deserve to be.

Honestly it feels we are a fair bit higher than we could have been. I haven’t seen or got the impression that we were significantly better than anyone we’ve played (even Altrincham). Perhaps Eastleigh but we weren’t able to put them away. So yes I would say very happy with the results we have got and the start we’ve had. We certainly have a lot of improvement to find if we’re to threaten the top half in my opinion despite us currently lying where we do. This is an uncompromising league and at the moment it looks like a struggle despite 2 wins and a draw from the last 3.
The wing back system first half went shockingly badly. Not sure we really knew how we wanted to play. When we did go short between Waller and Vaz we lost it. Vaz would get it and have very little in the way of options, no one seemed to have any idea how we wanted to hurt them or progress up the pitch. When we went longer neither forward could get hold of it. I would have reverted to the more usual shape half way through the first half. Arnold is not good enough with his feet to be distributing cute shorter balls, loses it in bad positions too much - it either needs to go long or short and simple. If he wants the keeper to play we need a different one. Not sure currently there is any one area of the pitch or facet of the game we can look at and go ‘we’re sorted there and looking decent’.
Much better 2nd half and we could have probably won it with a couple of the better chances of the game. Coley certainly added a bit of a spark and Barbrook also improved us in the middle.
Yeovil were lacking in quality going forward for sure but otherwise not bad. Mid table at best?
Onto Woking and travelling in hope more than expectation. Haven’t seen us win yet this season . . .

Interesting what Steve said at the end of his interview, that if he can bring in one or two experienced players he will. Like others have said could do with a bit more experience too help out the younger ones.⚽️⚽️⚽️

I thought we looked like what we currently are - a mid table team without the attacking or goal scoring threat to really push us up the table but solid enough to pick up enough points like this not to get dragged into significant relegation problems.
Yeovil looked clearly the better team first half but in the second period, especially after our substitutions we were the better outfit. A draw felt right. As others have said we need to get a couple of experienced heads in notably on both sides of the defence where we looked weak and like every team we would need someone who can score goals to push us up the table significantly.

Do we know if any Newcastle supporters took up the offer?
