I've not seen Alan selling scratchcards this season and was wondering if anyone on here knows if he is OK? I know he was only selling them outside the ground last season and am wondering if he has decided to stop doing them.

Alan advised a few of us the other week that he was in the process of moving quite away away from the Sutton area, and that also he was having trouble obtaining a new supply of cards, so we may not see him again for some time

I spoke to Alan about a month ago,he was fine, he was to be moving to Norfolk, Also the printers that produced the scratch cards were no longer doing them.

The cards were official. Originally there was a team of people who went door to door selling them, but following the introduction of the National Lottery, people gave up buying them and did that instead. Alan was the last seller, not only did he sell at the ground he still did his round. I think he gave the money to Bruce.

I was a seller once a long time ago but never got to go door to door because all the routes had been allocated!
