I notice in todays nonleague paper there is an article called "in my view" written by referee John Wilkins who was at our saturday game against canvey island. He maintains our spectators are bad for apparantly throwing a golf ball at the linesman. As far as i am aware this is utter rubbish and it was a golf ball being rolled along the ground by two bored ball boys which the linesman grabbed and took it to the ref. He ought to get his facts correct before going into print!

You are absolutely right Delboy one the ball boys was playing about with the golf ball, 3 or 4 yards from the pitch. The lino saw the ball, then rushed over and took it, he then started waving his flag, which resulted in the ref "confiscating" it. If the lino reported to the ref that it was thrown at him, it would tie in with a lot of the decisions he made, the prat is not only blind but stupid as well.

Leatherhead 3-2 Folkestone Invicta.
Why is it most clubs win once they lose their 'manager'?
