Relying on a 22 pass move to score in this league is a good way to get relegated. I’m not sure we completed 22 passes in the whole game in Braintree as the pitch was not amazing and they are only going to get worse. What is the plan b for when this happens? We’re into month 5 of the players being back from the summer break and we are still “learning lessons” of how to play plan a. Do you think Rochdale will get relegated as their first goal consisted of 34 passes? |

We are a complete non factor from free kicks and corners. We score lovely goals but they are really really hard to come by. We've scored 25 goals this season. Same as Oldham (in 5th), and more than Halifax and Yeovil (in 8th and 7th respectively). Our bigger issue over the season is our defence. |

Yeah the defense is a shambles but the attack is very patchy. 14 of our goals have come in 4 games meaning 11 goals in the other 13 games. There’s issues at both ends of the pitch that need fixing if we want to push for the top half

I don't think the issues are necessarily related to the defence (please not "defense" !) per se or attack per se but how the team collectively defends and collectively attacks. Clearly the midfield has role to play in each of these.
No doubt the management team are well aware what needs fixing and how.
