Hastings are beating Billericay 2-1 at half time, so are doing us a favour, we need to get those 3 points tonight!

Disappointing to say the least, we killed them in the first half and were very unlucky not to grab a goal or three. Start of the second half we just disappeared and Heybridge pounced on that and grabbed their goal, Dundas' goal was a bit of a goalmouth scramble with Dean falling into the keeper and Dundo slotting it in, I almost thought it was all setup for Billy Dunn again just outside the box and skied it over.
Not Good enough i'm afraid and Gavin Heeroo put the bloody ball in the 'D' not just outside it will you!

It was not good enough but that does not really address the problem and that now is a pattern dominance followed by conceding. Its not luck on the regularity we are doing it, its because we lack a killer striker, someone who does not mess about but just buries the thing. I know we have Chukki in the wings and he maybe the answer but he is not fit and will take time to get match sharp, so if there is any money lets go and get one. I think the quality of opposition in this league has been poor, but they all defend for their lives and when they do get them chances they take em we don't. If we did we would of been out of site in most games we have played by half time! GREAT TO SEE DUNDO SCORE

Frustrating evening once more...
Very much ontop in the first half, with a good number of chances being created, but just not converted. Second half we just fell apart, and were largly dissapointing. Funny what half-time can do!

I agree with the above. Once again our failure to convert pressure into goals was our undoing.
Tonight's game had a slightly similar pattern to Saturday's. We finished the first half strongly and created several chances - but didn't take any! We then lost the initiative at half-time and only managed to find the net very late in the game.
Heybridge were intermittently threatening on the break and had their best spell early in the second half when they taught us a lesson by converting one of those opportunities with a cross bundled in at the far post. Apart from that we restricted them mainly to fierce long-range shots, although a few of those went dangerously close.
We remain 12th in the table.

What a frustrating game - first half was a good a team performance as i've seen all season - good flowing build up play, denied by the woodwork twice and the only thing lacking was a goal - it looked very one sided. No idea what Dos said at half time, but it didnt work, we just didn't come out in the second half, allowed them a goal which never looked likely in the first half, and needed Dundo to save our unbeaten home record - another case of a draw when it should have been a win.

I was good to see Dundo get his first league goal of the season. Let's hope there are more to come.

The proverbial game of two halves. U's dominated the first half and could've had the game out of sight. Second half began, they scored, then the Sutton players came out on to the pitch - but even that took a while and rather than the fluidity of the first half, we laid siege for a deserved (based on the first 45mins) equaliser.

Disappointing second half performance tonight after a first half when we should/could have scored at least 3...we've got to find someone who can bury these chances or we're going to continue to struggle to get results I'm afraid. 12 goals from 12 league games tells its own story. Just a shame that Hann's 1st half effort didn't go in to claim the goal of the season competition in October On to Tooting now. Serious revenge to be had here against a team that have hit a bit of form (thanks to us?!!) and are now in 2nd place in the league.

Agree with most of the comments above. If we could have finished in the first half, we would have had a much inferior side dead and buried. 2nd half we laboured a bit, but let's be honest they showed very little besides a bundled goal and some stout and at times desperate defending. If we can put in a performance every week as we did in the first the goals and wins will come. We owe Tooting - let's hope they get it on Saturday.

Yet another game that could have been over by HT. First 15 fairly even, then all us. But the start of the 2nd half......what happened? They could have been 3 up inside the first 5 mins.
Plus points: We didn't lose. Dundo's 1st league goal. We kept going to the death.
Still looking like 2 points dropped though.....
