Ian Hazel has moved swiftly in response to Paul Harford's recent resignation, for personal reasons, as his assistant manager. After speaking to several leading coaches, Ian has agreed terms with former U's favourite Stuart Massey. After two spells with the U's as a player, Stuart moved into coaching and has managed Chipstead and Whyteleafe. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the local non-league scene plus contacts in the pro game, as well as unquestionable enthusiasm.
Welcome back Mass !

Good news, glad we have a new assistant this early into the close season.
Well done Ian and all involved.
Welcome Stuart.

Fantastic stuff. One of my all time fave players! Those of us who saw him play in the early 90s won't forget his strong challenges and his fantastic runs down the right!
Welcome back Mass!

I think this is a good appointment, though I wouldn't like to be a player who does not give everything with Mass around!

That can only be a good thing! Often I've felt that we have talent that isn't being used as some players do not ALWAYS give it their all.
