Hi all,
I was wondering how Nicholls is after Saturday, In the match report it mentions he didnt have to go to hospital but i was wondering if anyone had any update on his injuries etc

How long before he is back ? Not sure about the new bloke,he made the second goal last night but that's not what he's there for. Ashford scored a free kick from about 35 yards out, ridiculous.Epsom scored three well taken goals, especially the first which was almost repeated soon after, but he never got anywhere near any of them. How about at Ramsgate ? Also did i see him getting involved with the Ashford fans last night ?

I think one of the main differences is that Bechet isn't as experienced at marshalling the defence in front of him. As a shot stopper hes pretty good, but his positioning on a set piece last night wasnt great.
I hear we only have him short term anyway

As a Greek Cypriot I could make a whole plethora of jokes about dancing bears etc...... But I won't

Paul was warming up etc with the rest of the team before the game kicked off, and hopes to be back really soon

I believe Darren Behcet and Simon Downer are only with us short-term as cover for injured players. Both expect to move on in January. We may even have seen their last games for us already - I'd expect Paul Nicholls and AJ to reclaim their places in the starting line-up pretty soon, perhaps this Saturday.

I reckon Downer's last game will be at Coldsore on the 27th. As for Darren, depends how Monk is coming along with his injury.
If we've got him for a couple more games, may as well give Paul as much time as he needs.

i think i may have missed a rule change in Football and Cricket. When did the decree come in that all goalkeepers and wicketkeepers must now shout inane drivel throughout the whole proceedings without ever once closing their trap ?
Also,i never noticed it before but why does Nicholls spend so much time so far out of the penalty area ?

Dunno, but as long as we score more goals in a match then he lets in it doesn't matter!

This bloke's distribution is a joke.Time and again he kicks it straight to the keeper at the other end. A poor kick from him tonight resulted in their man getting a one on one chance which he missed. From the goalkick he passed it out and put Jackson under pressure.

And yet he was a popular choice for man of the match. Meh...

and we won 2-0. He saved the 1 on 1 and made top save from a freekick.
