Some of us may have been slightly apprehensive that Blyth Spartans would embarrass Blackburn Rovers, but in the end Rovers eased through 1-0. So our record of being the last non-League club to defeat a top flight outfit in the FA Cup will have stood for 20 years.

A proud record indeed, however if they had pulled it off I would have been very pleased for them.

Yeah I always feel awkward when non-League meets top flight. I'd love the minnows to go through every time but can't help but grin when Sutton's record still stands at full time.

I feel the same way and find it quite difficult...it's horrible being anything other than gutted for them, but it is a very proud record.
