Hi all,
Just to let you know that there will be a pitch inspection at Vale Farm at 10.15am tomorrow morning.
As soon as I hear the result of the inspection, I will post a message on the livescores thread that will be on our messageboard.

That will be local ref seeing if its even worth the match ref travelling, tbh I think he take one look and call it off because if pitch is frozen now it will be then?

The issue won't be the air temperature - but how quick the frost comes out of the ground. Apparently the temperature in London today hasn't gone about -1, so that won't help matters.

I don't know what its been like in Sutton overnight - but apparently where my parents live about 7 miles north of Vale Farm - there has been an exceptionally heavy frost and everywhere is very white.
As I've previously said, the result of the inspection will appear on our messageboard. It'll be on the livescores thread that Ive just started. It's the only way we can update as I'll be at church when the inspection happens.

Absolutely freezing in London last night and when I got back this way @ about 12.30, the frost was so thick, it looked like it had snowed.
Was below freezing most of saturday and with that overnight frost, it was never going to be on. You'd need a good 2-3 days of much warmer temps to have thawed out the ground for it to be playable.
Disappointing, but nowt anyone can do really.
