Could the pitch inspection have been a little later allowing for the teams travel? The temperature is rising and now the sun is shining and the grass is turning green.Three hours from now it may well be playable!

Pretty sure that if they thought there was a chance they would arrange a later inspection. If called off then would suspect they know better than us.
Don't want to start sounding like the sister in law (or whoever it was) of the ex Weymouth manager who thought our pitch would be playable based on the condition of their back garden.

Yep the temps are rising but as Stevehfc said you need to get rid of 2 weeks hard frosts in the matter of just a few daylight hours and it was never going to happen.
