If we're going to make it so we can only discuss things that you'll win the argument with it'll be no fun at all! I would say this season has been quite successful with regards to the cups. We would normally do exactly what we've done this year with regards to embarrassing county cup exits, doing sod all in the Trophy etc but we'd also go out of the FA Cup early too. Reaching the FA Cup 1st Round Proper is certainly cup success in my book. Quite how you can compare losing to Epsom & Ewell in the Surrey Senior Cup with a weakened side to losing to a side at the same step in the massively important and financially rewarding FA Cup i'm not too sure. It really isn't the same thing. You'd have killed for Leiston's cup run, i can't imagine you would be so keen on Epsom & Ewell's Surrey Senior Cup campaign. Incidentally, while i'm trotting out New Labour style statistics to suit my means, our excellent home record has actually yielded one more point than your excellent away record, so, as of today, i am Top Trump Btw, are Big Phil and Bash still injured?

I don't think its just NuLab that trots out statistics to suit their ends now is it? Statistics can be fun though - try winning money in the pub by betting that the next person to come through the door has more than the average number of legs.
Anyway, Phil is coming up for a 3 match ban having just got back from surgery and after the Tonbridge game was on crutches trying for the sympathy vote. Bash is currently somewhere with Tony Quinton, Darren Anderton and Shergar forging sicknotes.

Point of order VotP, Quino is recovering from a long needed ankle op, and is scheduled to be back in training ready for next season, Hayden knew this when he signed him, so he's not "forging" his !!!

I think it's good that both sides are doing well, nothing like a bit of healthy competition, be interesting to see who manages to win the local duel.
I know we're always looking to see if you've got beat!!

Really? I saw him in the pub last night, and he said it was his hip We're having him completely rebuilt, hips, ankles, knees, the lot. In fact we're fitting him with caterpillar tracks as well, the better to negotiate your pitch.
