For the 2nd match runing one of Robins' ex-U's contingent was sent off.
Paul Honey (his first ever red?) for retaliation. Not like PH.

'Runing'? PH seemed a little brain dead, having been booked, in the 85th min he decided to punch a Toots player after a poor tackle. Straight red and 3 match ban looming. Pity as he was one of the few actually trying today.

Shame. Totally unlike Paul but since it sounds like he's putting up with his colleagues putting in the kind of shite performances that made him want to leave Sutton, so maybe, it's not so surprising he cracked... Still, it brings us a touch closer to the moment Paul Dipre begins his real life game of Football Manager

Gowd their home form is truly shocking! As for Honey he would of pushed the Ref today if he was playing for us

Gowd their home form is truly shocking! Even so, a reported attendance of 376 between them and T&M sounds incredibly low.

I'd say that they had more people stuck outside the ground trying to get in at kick-off on the 27th than in the place today!

Surely there's an obvious explanation for the low attendance.
The last time these two teams met, the Robins so dominated with their "flowing, attacking, entertaining" football that the outcome of this game was a foregone conclusion. So a lot of the fans simply stayed away.
Er, hang on. ;D

No no AA. It's another of their 'moral victories'. And remember, they've got one of the best away records in the country.

They may know something we dont: www.footballwebpages.co.uk/league.jsp?comp=11&sort=6The predicted final table has them above us with some dubious maths (in case they correct it here it is) 1 Dover Athletic 42 37 0 5 92 34 +58 111 2 Staines Town 42 26 10 6 78 38 +40 88 3 Tonbridge Angels 42 21 11 10 86 53 +33 74 4 Carshalton Athletic 42 21 9 12 60 54 +6 72 5 Sutton United 42 20 11 11 63 53 +10 71

Sorry VotP, a bit too hasty on the keyboard there. Thanks for pointing it out though.

That'll be those moral victories your prog editor was talking about. You know they don't count towards any points don't you?

Clever, Rob, clever... OS, I agree about the dodgy maths, that predicted table tells us more about the lazy algorithms used than anything else. And as Big Ron would say, those algorithms wouldn't fancy a Wednesday night up at Crewe now would they? Bloody prima donnas.
