How about HSE make a rule about no fecking parents or non-club persons on the field at ANY time? Then again, that would be too easy........

A few years back we were practicising in the nets at Tattenham Way. Our star batsman launched a few shots back over the bowler's head, clearing a group of soccer mums by about 20ft. They moaned how they would sue if we hit them.
Then why stand behind the bowler in the only place a shot hit out of the net might land when there is another 10 acres of totally empty park to wander about in !!!!!!

As one bloke in the article says - spectators should watch the ball. As Taz (sorta) says, if she enters the 'field of play' it's her own fault.

I was sitting in the pavillion at The Oval once when a ball hit for 6 (by Lance Cairns i think) was thrown back to Bob Willis. It didn't get there and landed straight on the bonce of a bloke sitting a few rows in front of us.He rubbed his head and joined in with everyone else who was laughing about it.Where did it all go wrong ?
