Great move for the first goal and great finish for the second so you can't moan at McCallum but he could and should have made it 3 - 0.The penalty looked harsh to me but i was a long way away by that stage.

AJ's not had a lot of luck this season. Let's hope he's up and running again soon.
Today's result was obviously disappointing, as we let slip a 2-0 lead in the second half thanks to a dubious penalty and an injury time equaliser. I thought we looked the better side over the 90 minutes. At least we've ended the run of defeats. But Dartford have now overtaken us to occupy fifth place.

Before they got that dubious penalty i believe Maidstone only had one serious effort on goal.Talk about daylight robbery!

I heard that AJ had an operation once he was admitted to hospital as the stud/blade wounds on his leg went all the way through to the muscle. To be fair it was a 50/50 ball and there's no blame attached to their right-sided player....as we're finding out this season though, Kent football fans seem to be of a slightly different breed to the rest of the world.
16.45 today was the first time for a long while that I'd felt as low as I did in the first half of last season......maybe a sign of trepidation that we might not get the chance to get out of this hell-hole. We've GOT to get out of this blip as soon as possible. A win or at least a point at Tonbridge next week would be good......18 points out of the 7 games after that are absolutely crucial

Probably too easy but.......................
Which Maidstone United player went on to win international caps for England at centre half and play in a European Cup winning team as a forward ?

Disappointing & the pen looks a tad harsh as I thought it was at the time. It changed the game but w should've ben 3 goals to the good by then & once again paid the price for not making the game safe.
With that lot up the road pulling off a near miraculous result (must be gutted about conceding in the last min) not the best of afternoons!
As for our playing surface, where has it gone? It is beyond a joke now I'm afraid & both sets of players once again deserve credit for providing great entertainment on such a ptch.
As for their fans barracking AJ as he was stretchered off, what sort of mentality allows that behaviour? It would appear that their is some realy unlpleasant individuals from that part of Kent. They look for sympathy over the plight of their club but do they really deserve any sympathy when they act like that?

I have to say I can't see why people think it's a dubious penalty. Looks pretty nailed on to me. 99 out of 100 refs would give it. I know he was withdrawing his hand but the hand was out and therefore a stonewall pen in my opinion. The deliberate handball law is a load of old tosh anyway as I don't believe anyone intentionally handballs it unless they're punching the ball off the line!!
I have to say I thought our first goal was pure quality.

Disagree JR, these days most refs quite rightly don't give penalties for ball to hand unless the arms are outstretched to create a bigger barrier and it's clear Bond was trying to get out of the way.
