Enjoyed Mark's piece in the programme yesterday which featured our superb day out at London Road.
Lenny celebrating the third goal climbing on the fence in front of delirious Sutton fans is indeed an iconic moment in my time supporting SUFC. I have to say it would have made it into my top three. With one obvious exception, I'll be interested to see which other individual matches beat it for drama in his forthcoming articles.
Happy days indeed.
I think the tight security was born of a colourful visit by, I think, Cardiff, a week or so earlier - hence the hip flask confiscation Mark refers to in his piece.
It was just the most amazing day; the deserved win was celebrated royally and as I recall applauded by Peterborough fans too.

I think 2 of the top 4 are obvious, another should be as well but the next one will be a possible surprise.

Don't see why it couldn't be added to the Official Website when done & dusted.
OS? Adam?

I have been asked & will email them to OS when completed.
Thanks Andy. I'm now starting to think what to do next season. I have some ideas in the pot that I use for a brain.

How feasable would it be to do a small run of printed copies? It just that with the internet now, its good for articles to go up, but there always something of more value when it comes to printed form. I'm sure many of you will come back against the feasibility of it, but its just an idea

The trip to Peterborough is one of those days that will stay with me for ever; the number of supporters who went up to the game was quite suprising, the "Ole Ole Ole,Sutton,Sutton"chant which I found somewhat alien, almost embarrassing, when I first heard it against Aldershot in the previous round, but which I was duly belting out at London Road, the "iconic moment"(nicely summed up AB) of Lenny on the fence (after burying a header if I remember correctly),the players coming over at the final whistle and masses of us back on the fence again, celebrating. Frakus,I look forward to reading your recollections of the day when they get put up on-line somewhere.
