Nil-nil at half time, then Jonny Humphreys and Bentley Graham both grabbed 2 each with goals also for Harry Scola, Joe Wornham and Sonni James.
Away to Woking now in the Surrey Midweek Cup semi-final

I think we will need to find a tougher league for the guys next season. Surely these easy wins are not challenging the lads.

Even if it was the Cup, aren't we one of the founding members of the SYL which is why it is difficult to register in the Ryman Youth League? If i'm honest i've seen some of the teams they play and it is a bit of a joke.

Going back to the standard of opposition, Bisley were actually a half-decent team last night. To put 7 goals past them - which could have actually been double that score bearing in mind it was goalless at half-time - was a credit to the club, especially when you bear in mind that players that would "usually" be involved in a youth team set-up like Billy and Charlie Ottaway haven't been involved as much - or at all - "normal" players of that age at other clubs see progress as playing for the ressies at other clubs...we're promoting them to first-team level already.
Cherrywood Road by the way has changed massively. It's almost entirely blue for starters! The old covered terrace behind the goal has gone and is in the process of being replaced. The old open end now has terracing and cover and I was told that this is being made into an all-seater area. Looks like their 6-figure Football Foundation grant was still valid despite them going bust!!
Woking away in the semi-final will be on Monday evening if anyone wants to pop down by the way......7.30pm kick-off
